Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use AstroWeb.dev or engage NViewsWEB Digital Solutions Private Limited for Astro development, WordPress migration, deployment or support.
Effective date: 3 November 2026
These Terms apply to your use of astroweb.dev and to services provided by NViewsWEB Digital Solutions Private Limited (“NViewsWEB”, “we”, “us”), CIN U62012TN2026PTC191678, Shop No. 1, Plot 13, R.N. Puram, Bharathi Nagar, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu 613010, India. AstroWeb.dev is our Astro services brand. By using the site or engaging us, you agree to these Terms. For a specific project, the written proposal or statement of work you accept forms part of the agreement; if it conflicts with these Terms, the proposal prevails for that project.
1) Our services
We provide web development services including new Astro websites, completion and launch of existing or AI-generated projects, WordPress to Astro migration, CMS and content workflows, web applications, deployment and infrastructure setup, and maintenance and support. The exact scope, deliverables, timeline and price are set out in a written estimate or statement of work before work starts.
2) Estimates and pricing
- Prices on our website are indicative starting points, not quotes. The final price follows a scoping conversation and is confirmed in writing.
- Prices are in US dollars or Indian rupees as stated. Taxes (such as GST for clients in India) are added where they apply.
- An estimate is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise.
3) Payment
- Payment follows the schedule in your proposal. Unless agreed otherwise, projects are billed in stages: an advance to reserve time and start work, further milestone payments, and a final payment before go-live or handover.
- Invoices are due within 7 days of issue. Late payments may pause work, and we may withhold go-live, handover or credentials until overdue amounts are paid.
- Third-party costs such as domains, hosting, CMS plans, email services and paid plugins are billed to you or bought in your own accounts, and are not included in our fees unless the proposal says so.
- Refunds and cancellations are covered in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
4) What we need from you
You agree to provide content, brand assets, access and decisions on time; to give accurate information; and to name one person who can approve work. Delays on your side can move the timeline and, if they continue, the price.
5) Changes to scope
Work outside the agreed scope is a change request. We will describe the impact on price and timeline and start only after you agree in writing. Minor adjustments inside the scope, such as small text or spacing corrections during review, are not charged.
6) Review and acceptance
We share work for review at agreed points. Each project includes the number of revision rounds stated in the proposal. Work is treated as accepted when you approve it in writing, use it live, or do not raise issues within 7 days of delivery. We will fix defects, meaning things that do not work as agreed, for 30 days after launch at no extra charge.
7) Ownership and licences
- Your content stays yours. You confirm you have the right to give it to us and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights.
- Your project : on full payment, you own the website code, designs and custom work we create specifically for you. We set up source repositories, hosting, domains and third-party accounts in your name.
- Our tools : we keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, templates, components, scripts and know-how, including AstroWEBTheme. You receive a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use them as part of your delivered site.
- Open-source and third-party software remains under its own licences.
- We may mention that we built your site and describe the project in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.
8) Use of AI-assisted tools
We use modern tools, including AI-assisted ones, to work efficiently. A person reviews what ships. We remain responsible for the work we deliver and do not paste your confidential material into tools that would use it to train public models.
9) Confidentiality and data
Each party keeps the other’s non-public information confidential and uses it only for the project. This does not apply to information that is public, already known, or required by law to be disclosed. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Access credentials you give us are used only for your project and removed when the project or support arrangement ends.
10) No guarantees on outcomes
We build carefully and test our work, but we do not promise search rankings, traffic, conversion, sales, or specific performance scores. Search engines, platforms and third-party services change, and results depend on factors outside our control. Third-party services such as hosting, CMS, payment and email providers are governed by their own terms.
11) Support after launch
Post-launch maintenance, upgrades and content help are separate from the build unless the proposal includes them, and are provided under an agreed support scope, with response times stated in that scope.
12) Warranty and liability
- We will perform services with reasonable skill and care.
- Except as stated in these Terms, services are provided “as is” and we disclaim implied warranties to the extent the law allows.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before it arose.
- Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.
13) Acceptable use of the website
Do not misuse this site: no attempts to disrupt, probe or break security, send spam through forms, scrape at a harmful rate, or use it for unlawful purposes. We may block access to protect the site.
14) Suspension and termination
Either party may end an engagement as described in the Cancellation and Refund Policy. We may pause or end work if you do not pay, break these Terms, or ask us to do something unlawful or unsafe. On termination, you pay for work completed up to that date, and sections that by nature continue, such as ownership, confidentiality and liability, survive.
15) Independence and trademarks
AstroWeb.dev is an independent service and is not the official Astro framework website. Astro, Cloudflare, Vercel, WordPress, GitHub and other names belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the work we do.
16) Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion. If that fails, courts at Thanjavur, India, have exclusive jurisdiction.
17) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The effective date shows the latest version; changes do not affect a signed proposal for an existing project unless both sides agree.
